"Help for children with Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis" program
The program was implemented by the Foundation jointly with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus during 2018-2020. The program was aimed at creating a system of assistance to prevent disability and achieve stable remission in children with chronically active inflammatory Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis resistant to glucocorticosteroids.
The program provided timely and effective treatment with genetically engineered biological drugs (infliximab and adalimumab) for children with inflammatory bowel disease.
Treatment of children with Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis is carried out at the Republican Children's Center for Celiac Disease on the basis of the 3rd City Children's Clinical Hospital.
