"The early detection of hearing impairment in children" program

The program "Early detection of hearing impairment in children" is the first program of the foundation under the Cooperation Agreement with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus.

The program was implemented during 2013-2016 and was aimed at ensuring the process of continuous screening and diagnosis of hearing disorders in newborns and young children by equipping healthcare organizations with modern medical equipment.

Within the framework of the program, 372 units of specialized audiological equipment for continuous audiological screening were purchased for the timely diagnosis of hearing impairments in newborns and young children and other equipment. The equipment was supplied to healthcare organizations of various levels in all regions and Minsk city: maternity hospitals, polyclinics, children's hospitals, Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Otorhinolaryngology.

The program was implemented with the financial support of the general partner Gazprom transgaz Belarus.
