"Assistance in providing enteral nutrition for children with oncological diseases" project
The project has been implemented since 2019 and is aimed at providing charitable assistance in the form of payment for enteral nutrition for children undergoing complex treatment of the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Pediatric Oncology, Hematology and Immunology.
The project implementation is aimed at improving the quality of life of children with cancer who need additional enteral nutrition during active treatment (chemotherapy).
The main tasks of the project:
- providing children with easily digestible special nutrition enriched with vitamins and microelements;
- establishing adequate nutrition and maintaining the weight of patients for better tolerance of aggressive treatment, increasing resistance to infectious diseases, reducing the risk of postoperative complications.
