Meet the child
Valeria has a congenital heart disease: perimembranous ventricular septal defect. When the girl was only three months old, she was implanted with monolocular cardiostimulator. Because of the developing dilated cardiomyopathy, the synchronization of the cardiac chambers is urgently needed. Unfortunately in the Republic of Belarus children of the Valeria’s age are not implanted with the dual chamber pacemakers.
In the SANTARISKIU clinic there is big experience in implantations of a pacemaker with young children. Valeria will be implanted with the atrial electrode and dual chamber pacemaker.
