Meet the child
Little Maxim is struggling with a serious cancer disease. The boy was diagnosed with medulloblastoma, a malignant brain tumor. Maxim has already undergone subtotal tumor removal. Now he needs proton therapy. Proton therapy is a type of radiation therapy where protons are used as a source of energy. Proton therapy allows you to adjust the strength of radiation and the depth of its penetration. This means that healthy cells, tissues and organs are not affected, which is especially important in Maxim’s case.

The treatment is expensive and is not available in Belarus. Doctors of the Oncology Clinic of the Medical Institute named after Sergei Berezin (St. Petersburg) specialize in treatment of cancer in children and are ready to admit Maxim for examination and a course of proton therapy.

More than anything Maxim wants to return to normal life: to spend time with his family, play with his little sister and go to kindergarten.

Dear friends, thank you for helping Maxim overcome his cancer and return to a happy childhood!
Together we make a difference!
