In May 2024, despite being completely well-rested, Gleb developed a swelling on his face and legs. The doctors diagnosed nephrotic syndrome after the tests. In an emergency, the child was hospitalized at the Healthcare Establishment «2nd City Pediatric Clinical Hospital». There has been no effect from the treatment. Gleb's diagnosis is steroid-resistant nephrotic syndrome (morphological nephritis with minimal changes), which has a continuously recurrent course. Taking into account the multidrug-resistant nephrotic syndrome (a complex of symptoms manifested due to kidney damage), in order to determine further treatment tactics, full-exome sequencing with an emphasis on the panel of hereditary kidney diseases is recommended.
