We are used to think that arthritis, manifested by pain, swelling, and impaired joint mobility, is the destiny of adults. However, can happen that a child begin to complain of pain in the knee, elbow, hands or feet. That can be alarming symptoms, forerunners of the juvenile rheumatoid arthritis (JRA), a serious systemic chronic disease. Jura disease is very multifaceted, the main clinical manifestation of which is arthritis. Severe forms of the disease can lead to severe disability of the child.

Lena suffers from JRA since November, 2009. The disease started suddenly with a high fever, inflammation and swelling of the joints appeared. Soon she could move through her tears, overcoming unbearable pain. The girl was hospitalized, was diagnosed with JRA and started a long complex treatment.

Unfortunately, till today the disease does not respond to treatment. The girl need a highly effective medication Humira to achieve remission. The course of treatment requires 13 packs of the expensive drug  with a 1-year course.
