Foundation's history

The Chance Foundation was created in 2008 by individuals united by a common idea - to make sure that children in need of medical care can receive it.

For 15 years of operation, the Chance Foundation has provided assistance to more than 1, 350 children and has concluded more than 1,900 agreements with legal entities, among which there are companies that have been permanent benefactors of the foundation for all these years. Every year the volume of assistance is constantly increasing, the geography of assistance is expanding, the number of corporate and private benefactors is growing.

Since its establishment and for 13 years, Belgazprombank OJSC has been a permanent partner of the fund. The bank annually provided gratuitous (sponsor) assistance for the statutory activities of the foundation, treatment of sick children and implementation of programs.

Since 2013, OJSC Gazprom transgaz Belarus has become the general partner of the fund. In the same year, the Chance Foundation signed a Cooperation Agreement with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus, within the framework of which programs of assistance to children aimed at systemic solution of problems were implemented ("Early detection of hearing impairment in children", "Improving the provision of assistance to children with oncological diseases" , "Help for children with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis", "Development of pediatric interventional arrhythmology in the Republic of Belarus", "Surgical treatment of epilepsy in children").

The programs are financially supported by OJSC Gazprom transgaz Belarus and other corporate benefactors of the fund, thus making a significant contribution to the development of Belarusian medicine, along with providing targeted assistance to children. With the funds allocated by OJSC Gazprom transgaz Belarus, the Chance Foundation implements its statutory activities: it purchases and supplies medical equipment to healthcare organizations, pays for expensive treatment of children.
